A Dodge Grand Caravan came into the shop with some problems, and it wasn&#8217;t bad to work on, considering it was just suspension work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/2021_05_10_01.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/2021_05_10_01.jpg?w=600\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5436\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The customer said they had a flat tire and now the wheel is really crooked. They probably hit a curb or pothole pretty hard, cause the right front tie rod was very bent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/2021_05_10_02.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/2021_05_10_02.jpg?w=800\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5438\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At first I wasn&#8217;t sure if it was only the tie rod that was bent, because the alignment looked so far off, but I had to replace it first to see anyway. It was bent about 30 degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/2021_05_10_03.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/2021_05_10_03.jpg?w=600\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5439\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I went to replace the tie rod, I actually had to cut off the bent part of the tie rod to even get the inner tie rod tool onto it.
