Sometimes those accessories have a practical use, but are installed on cars that aren&#8217;t used in a way that would necessitate those additions.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4967\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/2020_06_22_01.jpg\" alt=\"2020_06_22_01\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Grille guards are good for vehicles that go off-roading or drive through underbrush, protecting the front of the vehicle. While the Honda Pilot is an SUV, I don&#8217;t think many are used that way, but I have seen many with grille guards, and it seems like a lot of them are first generation Pilots.
