This stresses the hose and if you do it too much it could lead to a premature failure.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4751\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/2020_02_17_01.jpg\" alt=\"2020_02_17_01\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I looked over at a car that a coworker was working on, and he had the entire knuckle, hub, rotor, and caliper hanging by the hose. It was still attached to the lower control arm, but that is a lot of weight pulling on that hose.
