When a Civic they were working on needed the engine changed due to overheating, they elected to send it over to the service shop to have one of the regular techs take care of it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4571\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/2019_10_28_01.jpg\" alt=\"2019_10_28_01.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Because they sent the car over while it was still taken apart, it made the engine swap a lot easier. With the front bumper and radiator already removed, all the tech had to do was remove the core support center section and he had a nice wide opening to help pull the engine out through.
