One of those jobs is axle seal replacement.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4566\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/2019_10_24_01.jpg\" alt=\"2019_10_24_01\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>There are supposed to be purpose built seal installers in the Honda special tool cabinet, but of course, over the years, they&#8217;ve all gone missing. Because of that, I have to find something else to use that can do the job okay. A lot of times I find a socket that&#8217;s just the right size, but in the case of the seal in the picture, an old bearing race I happened to have lying around was the exact perfect size for the rear differential oil seal.
