Here are some of the most interesting pictures that you may have missed if you don&#8217;t follow my social media.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4107\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018_08_30_01.jpg\" alt=\"2018_08_30_01.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This engine oil dipstick had broken off at some point, and instead of replacing it, the owner of this car just drove a screw into it so they could still use it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4108\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018_08_30_02.jpg\" alt=\"2018_08_30_02.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>An older Honda Odyssey came in with two ignition cylinders. One of them wouldn&#8217;t turn, so the customer had gotten another from a junk yard. They needed the old one still attached because it had the immobilizer keys programmed, until we programmed the keys with the new ignition.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4109\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018_08_30_03.jpg\" alt=\"2018_08_30_03.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A friend got locked out of her car, but the door was ajar just enough for a spoon taped to a yardstick to squeeze through and unlock it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4110\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018_08_30_04.jpg\" alt=\"2018_08_30_04.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These valves have had an unfortunate meeting with a piston. I don&#8217;t know what caused this, but obviously caused a bunch of damage.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4111\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018_08_30_05.jpg\" alt=\"2018_08_30_05.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is what happens when a transmission fails.
