The majority are missing fasteners or are damaged after several oil changes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3844\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/2018_03_22_01.jpg\" alt=\"2018_03_22_01.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I see a lot of Civics with slightly dented covers from running over things, but this one was really bad.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3845\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/2018_03_22_02.jpg\" alt=\"2018_03_22_02.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It got pushed up so far that you can see the impressions left by the bolts on the transmission. Luckily it didn&#8217;t look there was any damage to the transmission.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3846\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/2018_03_22_03.jpg\" alt=\"2018_03_22_03.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After finishing up the oil change I was about to the put the cover back on when I noticed that there was more substantial damage. The subframe or lower radiator support had also been pushed upwards and was rubbing against the lower radiator hose.
