{"id":3613,"date":"2017-11-09T06:00:02","date_gmt":"2017-11-09T11:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/?p=3613"},"modified":"2017-11-09T06:00:02","modified_gmt":"2017-11-09T11:00:02","slug":"dirty-air-filters-volume-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mechanicalmalarkey.com\/index.php\/2017\/11\/09\/dirty-air-filters-volume-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Dirty Air Filters, Volume 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past year since the last batch of dirty air filters I posted, I&#8217;ve accumulated pictures of a few more impressively filthy filters.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3616\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/2017_11_09_01.jpg\" alt=\"2017_11_09_01.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This is pretty typical for a Honda cabin air filter after 20 or 30,000 miles.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3617\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/2017_11_09_02.jpg\" alt=\"2017_11_09_02\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This one has definitely been in for longer than the previous one.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3618\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/2017_11_09_03.jpg\" alt=\"2017_11_09_03\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Something things this filter is tasty.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3619\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/2017_11_09_04.jpg\" alt=\"2017_11_09_04\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A pretty big animal nest was waiting on top of this filter when I pulled it out.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3620\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/2017_11_09_05.jpg\" alt=\"2017_11_09_05\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I guess the top of the cabin air filter is a good place to eat nuts.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3622\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/2017_11_09_06.jpg\" alt=\"2017_11_09_06\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is by far the worst cabin air filter I&#8217;ve ever seen.
