Actually, no, that&#8217;s a bad idea, usually it&#8217;s rodents that try that.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3516\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/2017_10_05_01.jpg\" alt=\"2017_10_05_01.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The repair order said that the recirculate function didn&#8217;t work, and the service writer had tried to check the air filter himself but could only pull it out a little bit because of all the dog food in it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3517\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/2017_10_05_02.jpg\" alt=\"2017_10_05_02.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I had to get a vacuum and suck out what I could as I slowly pulled the filter out. It took a few minutes, and then I had to remove what was still in there.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3518\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/2017_10_05_03.jpg\" alt=\"2017_10_05_03\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To get the rest of the dog food out I had to remove the blower motor, which is pretty easy on this car.
