That is a handheld megaphone stuck behind the engine and wired into the radio. My only thought is they want to broadcast music wherever they go, and figured that a megaphone under the hood was the easiest way.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2435\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/2017_02_23_02.jpg\" alt=\"2017_02_23_02\" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The back end of the megaphone was broken off to fit inside, and was sitting on the exhaust manifold, so it was a little melted.
