There are more.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1405\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/2016_09_01_01.jpg\" alt=\"2016_09_01_01.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a good example of a typical dirty air filter and how much darker it is than a brand new one.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1406\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/2016_09_01_02.jpg\" alt=\"2016_09_01_02\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It looks like some paper got sucked into the intake somehow, or an animal dragged it in.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1407\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/2016_09_01_03.jpg\" alt=\"2016_09_01_03\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This one&#8217;s a little past its prime. Looks like some animal nesting material got caught in it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1408\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanicalmalarkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/2016_09_01_04.jpg\" alt=\"2016_09_01_04\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A lot of leaves and dirt got caught by this cabin filter.
